Terms of use

The site. You Should See This provides editorial content for personal, non-commercial reading. You may link to and quote our articles with attribution.

Featured works. Rights to featured works remain with their creators and rights holders—see the copyright notice. Our featuring a work does not grant you any licence to reuse it.

Submissions. By submitting work, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant us permission to review it and, with full credit, feature it editorially. Submission does not guarantee coverage.

Accuracy. We verify facts and credits before publishing and correct errors quickly—see corrections and removal. Content is provided as-is, without warranties.

Privacy

Newsletter. Entering an email and selecting Subscribe requests a subscription; confirmation is required before delivery. We store the address, that request and its confirmation status solely to send The Weekly Edit. Each issue contains an open pixel and redirect links so we can count approximate opens and clicks by issue and article; email clients may block, cache or prefetch these, so the figures are not exact. We do not attach IP addresses or browsing profiles to those events. Our delivery provider processes the address and message, and every issue includes one-click unsubscribe.

Submissions. Form drafts are saved only in your browser until you send them. Submitted details and optional files are stored privately for editorial review and used only to consider and, with credit, publish coverage. We never sell submitted material or contact details, or share them outside the services needed to review and acknowledge your submission.

Embedded media. Some stories offer video from other platforms behind a poster and play button. The third-party player loads only after you choose to play it. That service may then receive technical information and is governed by its own privacy policy; Vimeo embeds use its Do Not Track player mode.

Your choices. You can unsubscribe from every newsletter issue. You can also ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted by emailing rights@youshouldseethis.ai with enough detail for us to verify and handle the request.

Cookies & analytics

This site. We use no advertising cookies or third-party analytics pixels. Our first-party analytics counts visits, article reads, coarse device and viewport groups, referrer domains, campaign tags, link clicks, scroll milestones and active reading time. It keeps a random visitor identifier in local storage for up to 395 days and a rolling session identifier for 30 minutes; clearing site data resets them. Those identifiers are pseudonymised before database storage. We never store raw IP addresses, full referrer URLs, form contents, email addresses or account identities in analytics. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected.

Essential action cookies. Newsletter confirmation and unsubscribe links use a secure, HttpOnly, first-party cookie for up to 10 minutes so link scanners cannot change subscription status without your action. It is removed when the action finishes.

Accessibility

Accessibility is part of the editorial experience. We aim for semantic pages, keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, useful alternative text and captions wherever the source material allows.

If something on this site prevents you from reading, navigating or submitting work, use the contact page and tell us the page, device and problem. We will treat the report as a product issue and work to correct it.
