Dozens of helmeted soldiers with rifles wade forward across a pale, foaming floor towards a heaped mass of green and brown bacteria banked against the red, ridged wall of a gut tunnel, with smoke drifting between the two sides

Good bacteria. Bad bacteria. Bacteria War gives the two sides an entire conflict inside the gut, with the ambition of a war movie attached to something you might eat for breakfast.

Ruth Bellotti directed the AI film and developed the creative with Alex Romans at DE-YAN, under Jason Kreher. In the campaign's production coverage, they describe a brief that had sat unmade for a decade before returning for Luma.

It is a wonderfully excessive comeback for an old yogurt idea. Something microscopic gets to occupy the whole screen, and a familiar product explanation becomes a reason to make a spectacle.
