A conventional ticket map asks buyers to infer a view from a coloured dot. StadiView removes that act of faith. Select one of its generated seats and the camera flies through the stadium into a first-person preview, where the buyer can look around before confirming a simulated selection.
The product is the sightline
Sujata Gunale’s concept recognises that a stadium ticket does not merely purchase admission. It purchases a relationship to the pitch: height, angle, distance and whatever the crowd or structure may obscure. Section, row and price describe the inventory, but the first-person camera describes what the customer is actually choosing.
The animated journey into the chair is more than transition polish. It preserves spatial orientation, showing how a seat belongs to the larger bowl before settling into its local view. A minimap and overview support the same decision from different scales. The user can move from plan to experience without mentally reconstructing the stadium between them.
Code keeps the overview and view connected
The self-contained experience combines Three.js and GSAP with orbit controls, a minimap, keyboard input and reduced-motion handling. Those details turn the procedural achievement into a usable prototype. Generating a stadium is only the first claim. StadiView becomes a product idea when thousands of generated positions remain navigable, understandable and connected to a choice the visitor can make.
