The field beneath the tower is already covered with people who tried to be heroes. Knights charged. Princes climbed. Now they are lying in a heap.

Then one man arrives and crawls.

Mathery, the directing duo Erika Zorzi and Matteo Sangalli, gives him none of the usual heroic upgrades. He slides, scrambles and looks completely wrong for the story he has entered. The longer he keeps going, the funnier that mismatch gets.

There is a lovely stubbornness to the performance. He just keeps moving, however ridiculous it looks.

Where Knights Fall won Silver in the Film category at the 2026 Runway AI Festival.
